To upgrade the schema
Procedure
- In the HCL Compass Designer,
click . The Upgrade Installed Packages Wizard starts. The first window of the wizard lists all schemas that have at least one package that needs to be upgraded.
- Select the schema that you want to upgrade, and click Next.
The second window of the wizard lists the packages that will be upgraded.
- Click Upgrade to accept the changes.
- If the UnifiedChangeManagement package from which you are upgrading is earlier than revision 3.0, map record states to state types for each UCM-enabled record type.
- Click . The schema changes are validate and any errors are displayed.
- Fix any validation errors and then click .The schema is checked in.
- Click . This upgrades the user database and associates it with the new version of the schema.
