Using network-attached storage devices with HCL VersionVault

Network-attached storage (NAS) devices provide data storage resources to other hosts on a local area network using a network file system protocol such as the Network File System (NFS) or the Common Internet File System (CIFS). The Help describes how you can use NAS devices to provide storage for VOBs, views, and other HCL VersionVault data. This chapter explains platform-specific features of those NAS devices that are tested and supported for use with HCL VersionVault.

For information on VersionVault support for NAS devices, see technote 272409.
