Installing reports

Unica Plan supports integration with both IBM Cognos and Unica Insights.

IBM Cognos reports

Reporting relies on the following components:

  • An IBM® Cognos® installation that meets the requirements that are specified in Recommended Software Environments and Minimum System Requirements.
  • A set of Unica components that integrate the system with the IBM® Cognos® installation.
  • The example reports for the Unica Plan application, which are built with IBM® Cognos® Report Studio.

Unica Platform provides the side of the reporting integration. To finish installing reporting, you run all of the following report package installers on the IBM® Cognos® system:

  • HCL
  • Unica Platform
  • Unica Plan

Unica Insights reports

Unica Plan integrates with Unica Insights, which is shipped with Unica Platform. Reporting relies on the following components:
  • A set of reports for the Unica Plan application, which are installed with the Unica Plan installer.
  • The Unica Insights web application which is shipped with Unica Platform.
