Plan configuration properties

  - Upgrade Overview
    An upgrade of Unica Plan is complete when you upgrade, configure, and deploy Unica Plan. The Unica Plan Upgrade Guide provides detailed information about upgrading, configuring, and deploying Unica Plan.
  - Planning Plan upgrade
    For upgrading to Unica Plan 12.1.2 version, you must check from which version you are upgrading. Upgrade scenarios are based on the current version of the Unica Plan.

    To upgrade Unica Plan, you back up your existing installation, ensure that Unica Platform is upgraded and running, run the installer, restore any trigger procedures, deploy the upgraded applications, and then run some post-deployment processes.

  - Uninstalling Unica Plan
    Run the Unica Plan uninstaller to uninstall Unica Plan. When you run the uninstaller, the files that were created during the installation process are removed. For example, files such as configuration files, installer registry information, and user data are removed from the computer.

    The properties and values on the Configuration page are stored in the Unica Platform system tables. You can use the configTool utility to import and export configuration settings to and from the system tables.

These properties specify information about asset alarms in Unica Plan.

notifyAssetAlarmMonitorStartTime

Description: Specifies when the asset alarm monitor process runs for the first time after Unica Plan starts. Format the value according to the short version of the java.text.DateFormat class for the current locale. For example, in US English locale, a valid string might be 11:59 pm. If you delete the default and leave this value blank, the monitor starts immediately after it is created.
Note: For best results, configure the alarm monitors to start during off-peak hours and stagger their start times to spread out the data processing load.
Default value: 11:00 pm

notifyAssetAlarmMonitorPollPeriod

Description: Specifies the time, in seconds, for the asset alarm monitor to sleep between polls.
Default value: Blank (60 seconds)

notifyAssetAlarmMonitorExpirationCondition

Description: Specifies the number of days before an asset is going to expire for Unica Plan to notify users that the asset is about to expire.
Note: If this value is -1, Unica Plan does not check for expiration.
Default value: 5 (days)
