Fields and buttons on the Workspace Component List tab

On the workspace Component List tab, you can add component references and manage components in a workspace.

Field or button Description


Delete Component

Click to remove the selected component and any components that depend on it from the workspace. If the component is not shared across workspaces, it is deleted from the system.


Copy Component Reference

Click to copy a reference to a selected component.


Paste Component Reference

Click to paste a copied component reference into a selected workspace.


Show Relations

Click to show the parents or children of a selected component.


Apply Filter

Click to apply filters you have configured.


Clear all Filters

Click Clear all Filters to remove all filters and show all components in the workspace.
Status Indicates whether a component is completely configured and valid.
  • The component is valid.
  • The component is not valid.

    For example, a component can become invalid when a component that this component depends upon has changed so that the data is no longer available.

Type Type of the component.
Name Name of the component. If a component was created in a workspace other than the current workspace, the name of the workspace where it was created is appended to the component name.
Description Description of the component, if the creator entered one.
