Opportunity Detect and Interact Advanced Patterns upgrade scenarios

Upgrade your installation of Opportunity Detect or Interact Advanced Patterns after you understand the guidelines that apply to your current version of Opportunity Detect or Interact Advanced Patterns.

Follow the guidelines in the following table for upgrading Opportunity Detect and Interact Advanced Patterns.

Versions earlier than 9.1.1.x	Upgrades from versions earlier than 9.1.1.x are not supported. You must perform a fresh installation. Only Opportunity Detect has versions earlier than 9.1.1.x.
9.1.1.x or 9.1.2.x	Upgrade your installation of Opportunity Detect or Interact Advanced Patterns as follows. You cannot upgrade directly to version 11.0. You must first upgrade to version 10.1 and then upgrade to version 11.0. For information about upgrading to version 10.1, see the HCL Opportunity Detect 10.1 Upgrade Guide. Upgrade to version 11.0 by following the instructions in this document. Note: If you are changing your database type, data migration is not supported. Perform a complete installation in a new location instead.
10.1	Upgrade your installation of Opportunity Detect or Interact Advanced Patterns as follows. The installer can automatically complete the data migration that is required for an upgrade. Upgrade to version 11.0 by following the instructions in Upgrading Opportunity Detect from version 10.1 with automatic migration If your organization's policy does not allow automatic data migration, you can select the Manual database setup option and then perform additional tasks to complete the upgrade. Follow the instruction provided in Upgrading Opportunity Detect from version 10.1 with manual migration Note: If you are changing your database type, data migration is not supported. Perform a complete installation in a new location instead.
