Configuring your upgraded Streams installation

Some additional steps are required to configure your Streams installation because it is upgraded to a new version in the 9.1.2 release of Opportunity Detect.

Procedure

  1. Execute the Firststeps script as described in the topic "Performing postinstallation tasks using the InfoSphere Streams First Steps application": http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSCRJU_3.2.1/com.ibm.swg.im.infosphere.streams.install-admin.doc/doc/ibminfospherestreams-install-first-steps-application.html?lang=en
  2. Update the JAVA_HOME entry in the .bashrc file of streamsadmin user.

    Change this:

    JAVA_HOME=/opt/ibm/java-x86_64-60

    to this:

    JAVA_HOME=/home/streamsadmin/InfoSphereStreams/java

  3. Set up ulimit parameters.
