Opportunity Detect contains two
components: Design Time and Run Time. You use the Design Time component to define events. You must
install a single instance of Design Time. The system uses the Run Time component to process
transactions and produce Outcomes. You can install multiple instances of Run Time.
For best performance, install a Run Time server on a host where no other HCL® Marketing
Software products are installed.
The following table describes the components that you can select when you install Opportunity Detect.

The design environment consists of the following.
- Opportunity Detect Design Time - Required. The web application where you design and run trigger
systems
- Interact Service - A service that is part of the environment that enables Interact integration. Required for Interact Advanced Patterns.

Opportunity Detect Run Time

The run time environment consists of the following.
- Streams Server - Required.
Selecting this option installs InfoSphere Streams along with HCL
Opportunity Detect. You can add multiple servers in your environment to create an HCL
InfoSphere Streams instance. You can map the instance to a server group.
- Server Files - Required.
- RealTime Connector - Required if you want to operate using a queue connector
or the Web Service.
- Streams Remote Control Service - Required.
