Installing Opportunity Detect
You must run the HCL® Marketing Software installer to start the installation of Opportunity Detect. The HCL Marketing Software installer starts the Opportunity Detect installer during the installation process. Make sure that the HCL Marketing Software installer and the product installer are saved at the same location.

If you install Interact Advanced Patterns over Opportunity Detect, and you select the Manual database setup option, you must manually update the password attribute of the properties tag in the server.xml file.

This file is located in the InteractService/wlp/usr/servers/InteractService directory under your Opportunity Detect installation.

To create an encrypted password that you can paste into the server.xml file, you can use the securityUtility. This utility is located under the InteractService/wlp/bin directory under your Opportunity Detect installation.
