Preparing for the Streams upgrade

Perform these steps before you run the upgrade installer.

About this task

If your current version of Opportunity Detect has not had FixPack 9.1.1.2 applied, your Streams installation will be upgraded to version 3.2.1. Perform the steps in this procedure to prepare for the Streams upgrade.

If you have installed FixPack 9.1.1.2, your Streams installation has already been upgraded and you do not have to perform these steps.

Procedure

  1. Confirm that the streamsadmin user exists.
  2. Install the required Streams RPMs for RHEL6.

  3. Run the Streams dependency checker script.
