Unica Campaign project template design
You can create as many campaign project templates as you want. For example, you might want to create a separate campaign project template for each type of campaign that you run.

If Unica Plan is integrated with Unica Campaign, campaign project templates guide users in creating a campaign project. Campaign projects integrate the planning and project management features of Unica Plan with the campaign development features of Unica Campaign.
Copying information automatically from Unica Plan to Unica Campaign
You can configure campaign project templates that automatically copy project information from projects to campaigns. You can automatically copy the description, Start date, and End date so you do not need to enter this information twice.

Copying information automatically from Unica Plan to Unica Campaign

You can configure campaign project templates that automatically copy project information from projects to campaigns. You can automatically copy the description, Start date, and End date so you do not need to enter this information twice.

About this task

When you create a campaign project template, select the Copy project attributes to campaign attributes option to automatically copy project attributes to campaign.

If the Copy project attributes to campaign attributes option is not selected, you can still copy the information with one click in the object instance. When you create instances from templates without selecting the option, the Copy project attributes to campaign attributes link copies project attributes to campaign.

Procedure

Create an instance of the campaign project.
Complete the project information: the description, Start and End Dates, and the Security policy.
If not already selected, clickCopy project attributes to campaign attributes.
Click Finish or Next.

Results

The campaign attributes are automatically filled with the corresponding project attribute values.
