Creating custom attributes

You can define custom attributes for use in offers.

About this task

To create custom attributes, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. From the Marketing Platform home page, select Settings > OfferSettings.
    The Offer settings page appears.
  2. Select Custom attributes definitions.
    The Attribute definitions page appears.
  3. Click + Add custom attribute.
    The Add Attribute page appears.
  4. Provide values for the Basic options, which include:
    • Display name
    • Internal name
    • Description
  5. Select values for the Formatting options, which include:
    • Form element type
    • Maximum Length
  6. If required, select Mandatory.
  7. Click Save.
    You can view the new custom attribute in the Attribute definitions page. For more information, see Viewing custom attributes.
