Changing passwords on encrypted datasets

To secure test data, you must encrypt datasets. All the columns in a dataset are encrypted using a single password. You can change this password at any instance.

Before you begin

You must have created a test that contains a dataset with at least one encrypted column.

Procedure

Under Functional Test Projects view, double-click the required dataset. The dataset is displayed in a browser.
Right-click the heading of the column and select Change password. The Change password dialog box is displayed.
Enter the old password and the new password, and confirm the new password.
Click OK.

Results

The password on the encrypted dataset is changed.
