Typically, a user with the administrator role is responsible for certain tasks including installation, configuration, and integration of the product. This guide lists all such topics.
Installing
In this section, you will learn about two ways to install the product. In the first approach, you use an executable file to directly install the product in an easy manner. In the second approach, you download and install IBM® Installation Manager and then use that tool to install the product.
Uninstalling the product software by using the stand-alone installer
When you no longer require the software, you can use the stand-alone installer to uninstall the products that you have installed.
Uninstalling Agent in the silent mode on Mac OS
When you no longer require IBM® Rational® Performance Tester Agent, you can uninstall it in the silent mode. You can choose to uninstall the product by using any one of the uninstallation methods regardless of the mode of installation.

Uninstalling Agent in the silent mode on Mac OS

When you no longer require IBM® Rational® Performance Tester Agent, you can uninstall it in the silent mode. You can choose to uninstall the product by using any one of the uninstallation methods regardless of the mode of installation.

Before you begin

You must have completed the following tasks:

Closed any open windows of the product.
Closed any open web browsers.
Closed all the other applications that are enabled by the product.

Procedure

Log in as an administrator.
Change to the directory where the product is installed by entering the following command: cd <directory path>. For example, cd Applications/HCL/Uninstall-HCL-<product-name>/Contents/MacOS
Start the uninstallation process by entering the following command: ./Uninstall-HCL-OneTest-<product-name> -uninstall -i silent
