Managing the webhook configuration

You can manage the webhook configuration that you set on HCL OneTest Server you want to edit, duplicate, delete the existing webhook configurations, or create a webhook.

Before you begin

Procedure

  1. Log in to HCL OneTest Server.

    The team space that contains your project is displayed.

  2. Click Active projects > My projects > project_name to open the project that contains the test assets.

    The Overview page of the project is displayed.

  3. Click Manage > Webhooks in the navigation pane.
    The TEMPLATES tab of Webhooks is displayed.
  4. Click the WEBHOOKS tab.
  5. Perform the tasks indicated in the following table:
    Task Action
    New Webhook Click the New Webhook option to configure and create a webhook. See Configuring a webhook.
    Editing a webhook Perform the following steps to edit the webhook:
    1. Click the Edit Webhook icon edit icon.

      The Edit webhook page is displayed.

    2. Enter a new name for the webhook.
    3. Replace the webhook URL by pasting a different URL of another messaging channel you configured.
    4. Select another channel type to post the notification of an event.
    5. Select a different template, and then select events from the Events list.
    6. Click Close.
    Cloning a webhook Perform the following steps to clone the webhook:
    1. Click the Duplicate webhook icon duplicate icon.

      The Duplicate webhook page is displayed.

    2. Enter a new name for the webhook, and then click Apply.

      The cloned webhook is added to the WEBHOOKS tab.

    Deleting a webhook

    Perform the following steps to delete the webhook:

    1. Click the Delete Webhook icon delete.

      The Delete Webhook confirmation dialog is displayed.

    2. Select the I understand webhook deletion is permanent checkbox, and then click Delete.

      The webhook is removed from the webhook list.
