Recording and stubbing settings

To specify how the JMS transport is recorded and stubbed, modify the settings on the Recording and Stubbing tabs.

Recording settings

To modify the recording settings, click the Recording tab.

Two recording types are available: Subscribe/Browse and Client Agent. For an explanation of the differences between these types of recording, see Recording Java Message Service (JMS) traffic.

Stubbing settings

To modify the stubbing settings, click the Stubbing tab. Two stubbing types are available:
  • Direct: Stubs consume messages from the real destination and do not send routing rules to HCL Quality Server
  • Use Sift & Pass-through: Stubs listen for intercepted messages. If the stub does not handle the messages, the messages can then be passed through to the live system.
