Administrator Guide
This guide describes how to install HCL OneTest™ API. After you install the software, you can perform administration tasks such as configuration and integration of the product. This guide is intended for administrators.

  HCL Quality Server is a server-based web application providing a central repository for virtualized services. The HCL Quality Server allows you to use virtual services published with HCL OneTest™ API to create, share, and deploy virtualized test environments in HCL OneTest Virtualization.

  HCL OneTest™ API supports integration with various other tools for quality management, change management, software configuration management, and deployment automation tools such as UrbanCode™ Deploy.

Installing HCL OneTest™ API

You can use any of the following methods to install the HCL OneTest™ API:

Use IBM® Installation Manager, after you download the relevant package to start the installation if you have installed Installation Manager on the computer.
You can install the product software by using Installation Manager in any of the following modes that depend on your ease of using the GUI or command line or your requirement to install on multiple computers:
- GUI mode
- Console mode
- Silent mode
