Extended Utilities

The extended utility support functions run as Java UDR's to provide extended functionality.

You must execute the function declaration in each database you wish to use. You can choose your own SQL function name for these if you do not wish to use the names provided in the examples.

To setup your database to use these utilities, you must execute the Setup Syntax as a DBA.
