GLS locale filesThe locale file defines a GLS locale. It describes the basic language and cultural conventions that are relevant to the processing of data for a given language and territory.

When the HCL OneDB™ product needs to obtain locale-specific information, it accesses one of the GLS locale files.

HCL OneDB access one of the files in the following table.

Windows™	%ONEDB_HOME%\gls\lcX\lg_tr\codemodf.lco

In these paths, ONEDB_HOME is the environment variable that specifies the directory in which you install the HCL OneDB product, and gls is the subdirectory that contains the GLS files. This rest of this section describes the remaining elements in the path name of GLS locale files.
