IMCSERVER environment variable

The IMCSERVER environment variable specifies the name of a database server entry in the sqlhosts file that contains information about connectivity.

The database server can be either local or remote. On UNIX™ systems that support the C shell, the IMCSERVER environment variable can be set by the command.
setenvIMCSERVERdbservername
dbservername
is the valid name of a database server.

Here dbservername must be the name of a database server in the sqlhosts file. For more information about sqlhosts settings with MaxConnect, see your HCL OneDB™ Administrator's Guide. You cannot use MaxConnect unless IMCSERVER is set to a valid database server name.
