Convert internal data typesFor your Java™ application to work with the internal server representation of HCL OneDB™ data types, use the IfxToJavaType class. For example, if your application is using the HCL® OneDB® Change Data Capture API, you can use the IfxToJavaType class to interpret the byte stream.

The convertDateToDays() methodThe convertDateToDays() method converts java.sql.Date to an int data type that encodes the number of days since January 1, 1900 as 1. Dates earlier than January 1, 1900 are encoded as negative numbers.
