How can I export view data in CSV files?
You can export IBM® Notes® view data to a CSV file. The Comma Separated Value (CSV) file format is a simple ASCII text file with one record per line, whose fields are separated by commas. The documents in the view will appear as individual records in the CSV file.

How can I export view data in CSV files?

You can export IBM® Notes® view data to a CSV file. The Comma Separated Value (CSV) file format is a simple ASCII text file with one record per line, whose fields are separated by commas. The documents in the view will appear as individual records in the CSV file.

About this task

Only Notes® view data is exported. You cannot export data to CSV format from an open document. Exporting from a view does not remove documents from the view, but simply copies the data into a new file.

CSV import is not supported.

Perform the following steps to export a Notes® view in CSV format:

Procedure

In a view, select the documents you want to export.
Click File > Export.
In the File name field, either create a new file by typing a name and extension, or replace data in an existing file with the exported data by selecting the file. Use .csv as the extension.
Click Comma Separated Value in the Save as type field.
Click All documents or Selected documents.
To include the view titles in the exported file, check Include View titles.
Specify the Export character set. The options are the default character set, International (UTF-8), and Unicode.
Click OK.
