Event reporter
Event Reporter is used for reporting Flow and Map execution events. Event Reporter enables HCL Link runtime to report Flow and Map events to Elasticsearch. Events will be reported only if the Event Reporter feature is installed and configured.

- Server dashboard
  A server dashboard in Link, manages deployed flows and to see the results of flow runs. The server dashboard allows you to run maps and flows, but only those that have no input defined. If one wants to run any other endpoints, one must go to the endpoint Swagger page and run from there. The server dashboard is similar to Swagger page and to the 'Run' dialog available from the flow designer.

    - Event reporter
      Event Reporter is used for reporting Flow and Map execution events. Event Reporter enables HCL Link runtime to report Flow and Map events to Elasticsearch. Events will be reported only if the Event Reporter feature is installed and configured.

        When you run HCL Link Maps or Flows using the HCL Link runtime REST API, the related Map and Flow execution events are sent to the specified Elasticsearch server.

        To configure Link runtime to send events to Event Reporter, specify the Event Reporter host and port during windows installation time. The Event Reporter will start automatically on the Link local host using IP address 127.0.0.1, and listen for the Flow and Map events on the specified port.

Use these steps to start Event Reporter.

Procedure

Ensure that the config.yaml/rest/eventReporter/host is set to 127.0.0.1.
Event Reporter will automatically be started by tx-rest.
