Building applications
The following topics contain information on how to build and efficiently use applications in HCL Domino Volt.

  After an HCL Domino Volt application is built it must be deployed. After it is deployed, you can supply users with the URL of the application so they can launch it. After users submit completed forms, you can view the responses.

Adding a navigation property to a button or link

You can add a navigation property to a button or link.

About this task

Starting with release 1.0.3, users can add a button or link that navigates to different forms, app pages, Volt applications, or web URLs.

Procedure

Create a new app or click Edit on an existing app.
Add a new button or link, or select an existing button or link.
In the Properties panel on the right, under "On click navigate to", select the form, app page, Volt application, or web URL that you want the button or link to navigate to.
In the Properties panel, select one or both of the following options to choose what response the button or link prompts when clicked:
- Open in another tab - Opens the location of button or link in a new tab.
- Suppress leave page warning - Disables the warning that data will be lost if form is left without saving.
  Note: The Suppress leave page warning option is available in forms only.
Optional: Add a caption, hover help text, or an image for your button or link.
