Using the Workload Data Rollup script to roll up collected data

Use the Workload Data Rollup script to roll up collected data after you run the Workload Data Collection script.

Set these NOTES.INI settings on the driver running the Workload Data Rollup script:

Table 1. NOTES.INI settings

NOTES.INI settings

Description

NB_SteadyStateTime

Enter the number of minutes that you want to disregard in order to ensure you are getting steady state data. If you do not set this variable, the default of 30 minutes applies.

NB_MeasureTime

Enter the number of minutes after steady state that the rollup should read data (length of the real test). If you do not set this variable, the default of 60 minutes is used. If you specify a test length value greater than that which is in the data file, Server.Load stops at the end of the file.

NB_SaveCMDConsole

Set this value to zero (0) prior to running the Workload Data Rollup script. If you do not set this value, and the default value of 1 is used, the file is overwritten during initialization.

NB_NumOfClients

Note: Enter the number of regular drivers in the run. The default is 20. If you have res files from an earlier run in excess of the current number of files, set this variable to prevent those extraneous res files from being used.

NB_Rollup

Enter 1 to enable the Data Rollup Workload to run.
