Internet Protocols - Domino® Web Engine tab

From this tab, you can configure some settings necessary for setting up a Domino® Web server.

Note: There's no need to change the default settings for managing the memory cache and running Web agents.

If HTTP sessions are disabled in the beginning of this tab, you can enable the Domino Web server to support specific Domino Access Services, such as the "transmute" service for the Domino File Viewer capability (12.0.2 and later) that can be accessed by other applications. Otherwise, use the Internet Site document's Internet Protocols > Configuration tab to enable these services.

Note: If HTTP sessions are disabled in the beginning of this tab (you aren't using Internet Sites web configurations), you can disable certain HTTP methods not allowed in your environment by using the notes.ini variable HTTPDisableMethods with a value of the method name. Separate multiple method names using a comma. For example, Some security scanning software will recommend disabling certain methods such as TRACE. To disable the TRACE method, enter HTTPDisableMethods=TRACE. To disable TRACE and OPTIONS, enter HTTPDisableMethods=TRACE,OPTIONS.
