Installing and upgrading Notes on Windows for single user

Notes® installation on Microsoft™ Windows™ is supported for single user or multi-user. When installing Notes in a single user environment using the Allclient installation kit, you can install or upgrade the Domino® Designer and Domino Administrator clients.

Before you begin

See the related topic on considerations for installing before proceeding.
Note: If you are installing or upgrading Notes on Windows Vista, see the related topic on considerations for Windows Vista before proceeding.

About this task

This procedure uses the installation executable supplied in the Notes installation kit. For deploying an install or upgrade silently or by way of Smart Upgrade to multiple users, see related topics. For additional and related information about Notes deployment on the Windows platform, see the IBM® Support site and the Notes and Domino wiki, especially the upgrade cookbook, also in the related topics.
Note: Notes installation on Linux™ and Mac OS X is supported for multi-user install only. Notes installation on Citrix XenApp is supported for single user install and multi-user install.

Procedure
