Add an update site to the update site list

You can add an additional update site to the NSF-based update site list in the server Configuration Settings document.

Procedure

  1. From the Domino® Administrator, select the Configuration tab and click Server > Configuration.
  2. Click Add Configuration or open the existing server document.
  3. Click Client Upgrade > Provisioning.
  4. Select the checkbox next to the Provisioning settings are enabled option.
  5. Click New.
  6. Type a descriptive server name of your choice.
  7. Specify an existing update site location, for example http://abx20.zxc.com:80 or https://abx20.zxc.com:443.
Note: If you are using Web-based HTTP protocol then specify the update site value using HTTP or HTTPS format, for example http://server/updatesite.nsf/site.xml or https://abx20.zxc.com:443. The last part of the Web address is inferred to be site.xml, thus its specification in the path statement is optional.
Note: If you are using a Domino NRPC protocol then specify the update site value using NRPC format, for example NRPC://server/__replicationID/site.xml. You must specifysite.xml as the last part of the NRPC address. You can specify an Eclipse update site or an NSF-based update site.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Select the checkbox next to the server listed in the Sites to include in search option.
