You can configure IBM® iNotes® so
that users can open IBM Notes® links
(document, view, or application links) in either a new browser window
or in Notes. iNotes supports Notes links to any server,
as long as the user has access to the application to which the link
connects and the application is on an IBM Domino® server in the local
area network. This is also useful for iNotes users who reply with
history or forward a thread with Notes links back to a Notes user.
You can also configure the server to offer Notes links only or Web
links only.
Procedure
- From the Domino Administrator,
click the Configuration tab.
- Select the Server view and open
the server document for the mail server.
- Click Edit Server.
- Choose the Internet Protocols tab,
then the Domino Web Engine tab.
- In the Conversion/Display field,
set the field Redirect to resolve external links to By
server or By Database.
- Click Save & Close.
Note: If
you have enabled Load Internet configurations from Server/Internet
Sites documents, then the setting Redirect
to resolve external links is found in the HTTP web site
document, not the server document.
- Add the setting
iNotes_WA_OfferNotesURLInLink= to
the Domino Web server's notes.ini file
and choose one of the values listed in the table.
