This documentation lists each class, property, and method in the Domino® class library. Each class is followed by an alphabetical listing of the properties for that class and an alphabetical listing of the methods for that class. To find the property or method you want, turn to the class to which the property or method belongs.
NotesPropertyBroker (LotusScript®)
Mediates communication between components of a composite application, allowing communication between multiple Notes® components, or between Notes and Java™ components.
SetPropertyValue (NotesPropertyBroker - LotusScript®)
Sets the value of a specified property.

SetPropertyValue (NotesPropertyBroker - LotusScript®)

Sets the value of a specified property.

Note: The property must be published after setting, or the new value will be lost.

Syntax

Call notesPropertyBroker .SetPropertyValue( name, value )

Parameters

name

String. The name of the property whose value will be set.

value

String. The new value of the property.

Return Value

NotesProperty.

Usage

The property must be defined by WSDL. If it does not exist, it will be created. Otherwise, the existing value will be replaced. Input properties cannot be set.

All NotesPropertyBroker methods are inactive when called by applications running on the Domino® server, or running on the Notes® 8 basic configuration without Notes® 8 standard configuration.
