getIDFromServer (Registration - Java™)

Detaches the user ID file from a Person or Server record in a Domino® Directory.

Syntax

public void getIDFromServer(String username, String filepath, boolean isserverid)
    throws NotesException

Parameters

String username

The full name of the user.

String filepath

A name for the ID file; specify a full pathname, for example, c:\notes\user.id.

boolean isserverid

True if the name represents a server ID, false if the name represents a person.

Usage

This method acts on the Domino® Directory (names.nsf) for the server specified by RegistrationServer, or names.nsf in the local Domino® data directory if this property is not set.
