Transform (NotesXSLTransformer - LotusScript®)

Transforms DXL using an XSLT stylesheet.

Note: This property is new with Release 6.5.

Syntax

output$ = notesXSLTransformer .Transform( [ input ] , [ stylesheet ] )

Parameters

input

Variant. The input XML. A string or an object of the following type:

  • NotesRichTextItem
  • NotesStream

Defaults to SetInput or the input parameter of CreateXSLTransformer.

output

Variant. XSLT stylesheet. A string or an object of the following type:

  • NotesRichTextItem
  • NotesStream

Defaults to SetStylesheet or the styleSheet parameter of CreateXSLTransformer.

Return value

output$

String. The transformed XML.

Usage

This method is an alternative to Process if pipelining is not used.

You cannot explicitly read or write a NotesStream object associated with a file prior to using it for XML input or output. For example, if you write to a file then use it for XML input, you must close and reopen the NotesStream object.
