If you have IBM Docs 2.0, IBM Docs 2.0 CR1, or CR2 already installed, to install CR3, you only need to download the IBM Docs 2.0 CR3 zip package from FixCentral and extract the package. Then follow the instructions in the PDF file to install CR3. But if you have a version prior to IBM Docs 2.0, before installing CR3 package, you must follow instructions in this guide to install and deploy IBM Docs 2.0.

These worksheets provide the relevant information needed to successfully deploy IBM Docs.

There are two groups of servers that this information will need to be gathered for. One group includes the non-IBM Docs specific components like the database server, NFS server and clients, WebSphere® Application Server, IHS servers, and IBM® Connections. The other group includes the IBM Docs components.

The values in the worksheet tables are examples. It is best that you use these examples as your default values. The parameters used throughout this guide are the same examples that are provided in these tables.

Disable UAC (User Account Control) on all Windows server temporarily during the deployment process if you have it enabled.
