Adding Docs Nodes, Conversion Nodes, Deployment Manager and web server into Job Manager target list

Before installing the components of IBM Docs, you must add Docs Nodes, Conversion Nodes, Deployment Manager and web server into Job Manager target list.

Procedure

1. Open browser, go to web console of Deployment Manager, such as https://dmgr.domain/ibm/console.
2. Go to the page System administration > Nodes.
3. Collect all the Host Name of the Docs Nodes, Conversion Nodes and Deployment Manager.
4. Go to the page Jobs > Targets.
5. Click the New Host button.
6. Fill the form by the information of Docs Nodes, Conversion Nodes and Deployment Manager.
7. If the account used for the Linux target does not have administration, select the use sudo check box.
8. Make sure the Save security information check box is selected.
9. Click the OK button to add the target.
10. Repeat step 5-10 to add all the Docs Nodes, Conversion Nodes and Deployment Manager.
