Changing borders in spreadsheets

In a spreadsheet, you can add a border around a single cell or range of cells.

About this task

You can customize the border by changing its type, style, and color.

To apply a border to a single cell or to a range of cells, perform the following steps:


  1. Select the cells that you want to format.
  2. Click the Set Border Style and Color icon change borders icon. Use the drop-down list to select from a variety of border types, styles, and colors.
    Note: You can publish the spreadsheet with cell border styles in HCL Connections Docs to a .xlsx file.
