This guide describes how to install HCL DevOps Test Integrations and APIs (Test Integrations and APIs). After you install the software, you can perform administration tasks such as configuration and integration of the product. This guide is intended for administrators.

Working with Library Manager
HCL DevOps Test Integrations and APIs (Test Integrations and APIs) uses a plug-in architecture to provide support for various middleware and messaging technologies, so the list of third-party products with which it interacts can become large. You can manage this list by using Library Manager. When support for a new architecture or messaging plug-in is required, you use Library Manager to add that support.

Use the LibConfig executable on computers that do not have a graphical user interface.
Generating a configuration file for Test Integrations and APIs
If you want to use Library Manager on computers that do not have a GUI, you can generate an XML configuration file by using a setting on the LibConfig command.

  HCL DevOps Test Integrations and APIs (Test Integrations and APIs) supports integration with various other tools for quality management, software configuration management, and deployment automation tools.

Generating a configuration file for Test Integrations and APIs

If you want to use Library Manager on computers that do not have a GUI, you can generate an XML configuration file by using a setting on the LibConfig command.

To generate an XML configuration file for the current HCL DevOps Test Integrations and APIs (Test Integrations and APIs) installation, follow these steps:

Procedure

Open a command prompt or terminal and enter the following command:
LibConfig -genLibSettings <Full path to configuration file>

For example:
```
LibConfig -genLibSettings /opt/ghconfig/librarysettings.xml
```
The configuration file for Test Integrations and APIs is created in the specified location.

Note: The configuration file contains the current Library Manager settings for the user who generates it (that is, the logged in user who runs the LibConfig command).
If necessary, edit the generated file before you process it on the target computer. If no changes to the configuration are required, apply the configuration file. See the related links.
