This guide describes how to install HCL DevOps Test Integrations and APIs (Test Integrations and APIs). After you install the software, you can perform administration tasks such as configuration and integration of the product. This guide is intended for administrators.
Administration of DevOps Test Virtualization Control Panel
HCL DevOps Test Virtualization Control Panel (Test Virtualization Control Panel) is a server-based web application providing a central repository for virtualized services. The Test Virtualization Control Panel allows you to use virtual services published with HCL DevOps Test Integrations and APIs (Test Integrations and APIs) to create, share, and deploy virtualized test environments in HCL DevOps Test Virtualization (Test Virtualization).
Agent and Proxy administration
Use HCL DevOps Test Virtualization Control Panel (Test Virtualization Control Panel) to view and control any of the HCL DevOps Test Integrations and APIs (Test Integrations and APIs) agents or proxies.
Modifying log levels
The log level of proxy refers to the default level of events that the proxy must log to HCL DevOps Test Virtualization Control Panel (Test Virtualization Control Panel) instance.

Modifying log levels

The log level of proxy refers to the default level of events that the proxy must log to HCL DevOps Test Virtualization Control Panel (Test Virtualization Control Panel) instance.

About this task

The default log level of any proxy is Info. This can be changed after the installation of HCL DevOps Test Integrations and APIs (Test Integrations and APIs) proxy.

However, you can also change the log level of a proxy at Test Virtualization Control Panel instance level.

Procedure

Log in to Test Virtualization Control Panel.

The application window is displayed.
Click the Infrastructure icon or navigation link.

The Infrastructure Dashboard is displayed. Test Integrations and APIs proxies that are registered with Test Virtualization Control Panel instance and are running are displayed.
Expand the proxy card by clicking on the expand card icon ().

The Details tab section is displayed for the proxy.
Click Log Level to display the list of options and then select from any of the following options to modify the log level:
- Debug
- Info (installation default)
- Warning
- Error

Results

The log level of the selected proxy is modified for the current Test Virtualization Control Panel instance.
