Agents and Virtual Testers

Agents refers to a software component or module that operates autonomously to perform specific tasks related to testing. These tasks can include executing test scripts, collecting data, and reporting results. Agents are often distributed across different environments, allowing for the parallel and distributed execution of tests. This is especially useful in scenarios where testing needs to be conducted on multiple devices or platforms simultaneously. Virtual testers are often employed in performance testing to simulate a large number of virtual users or clients interacting with a system concurrently. Virtual Tester can be deployed simultaneously on one or several targets, with different test configurations. A same virtual tester can also have multiple clones on the same target host machine.
