Importing query results into Microsoft Excel
You can import the query results into a Microsoft® Excel spreadsheet by using the query Web address. Only Microsoft Excel 2002 and 2003 are supported.

About this task
In HCL Compass, you can import query results into Microsoft Excel using the query Web address. In HCL Compass, you can export query results directly from HCL Compass to a text file or a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. See Exporting the contents of result sets.
To import query results into Microsoft Excel:
Procedure
- Run the query. Create a bookmark for the Web address or add it to your Favorites list.
- In Microsoft Excel, create a
new workbook.
- In the window that opens, determine where to put the imported data and click OK.
