- Using your HCL Compass Web client
  HCL Compass Web is a browser-based interface to HCL Compass that runs on Windows, the UNIX system, and Linux. You can track defects and change requests in HCL Compass Web through this interface. When a session times out, you can re-authenticate and continue where you left off because the state of the user interface is retained.

Modifying the result-set grid display settings

You can change the display settings to customize the appearance of the result-set grid.

Before you begin

You must select the Result set tab to see the Grid Properties item on the Edit menu.

About this task

To modify the result-set grid display settings:

Procedure

Click Edit > Grid Properties.
In the Titles and Grid Lines area, select the attributes to apply.
Optional: To change the colors in the result-set grid, select a grid control from the list and a corresponding color in the Color area.
Select the Save settings to profile check box to apply these settings the next time you use the HCL Compass client for Windows™.
Click OK.
