Layout assignment failing for synonym when default language is not English

Observed behavior
When a layout assignment is set for a search term, synonyms are not considered if the default language is non-English.
Expected behavior
Synonyms should behave the same in all languages for layout assignments.
Resolution
The code was corrected to explicitly pass the language to the synonym search function.
