Message Transport Assignment
Use this page to assign message types to transport methods and device formats.
- Message type
- Select the message type you want to work with.
- Message severity range
- Currently this field is not used by the Messaging System. The recommended value is 0-0.
- Transport
- Select the method in which messages will be transported or communicated message recipients. If the transport method you want is not listed, ensure that the transport has been enabled.
- Device format
- Select the device format or method for recipients to receive messages, as follows:
- HTTP browser
- I Mode
- Standard device format
- Adapter for IBM MQ (XML)
- Adapter for IBM MQ (HCL Commerce Legacy)
- HCL Commerce enhancement 1 WebServices
- Archive message after sent
- Select this option if you want the message archived once it has been sent to recipients.
