Virtual Endpoint Manager has the following components:

Server: The BigFix server is a database that communicates with the relays and the BigFix console to manage the devices in your deployment.

Plugin portal: For information on plugin portal, refer to The Plugin Portal.

VMware plugin: VMware plugin allow devices to be managed without an agent on the device. VMware plugin communicate to the VMware vCenter by translating BigFix content to VMware commands that are accepted by the VMware vCenter.
