Limiting the size of a Security report
Security reports can be large. During report generation, you might receive a warning message that the file is hundreds of pages long, or the report creation process might time out. Try the following tips to reduce report size.
Procedure
- One way of reducing report size is to limit the report to a part of the application. Filter and group the issue list before you select the issues you want to report.
- If you see that your application contains thousands of issues, consider generating an Executive Summary only.

Select only the issue attributes that are relevant to your
audience. By default, all of the available issue attributes are selected for reporting.
- Verify that the DAST Variants setting is "1", so that no more than a single variant is included for each issue.
- Including the Request/Response and Advisories and Fix Recommendations can add many pages to reports. Select these options only if needed.
