Settings to enable auto-creation

About this task

To enable auto-creation of Anomaly Detections, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Portal as an administrator.
  2. From the Portal menu, select Discover > Manage Portal.
  3. In the left navigation panel, select the General Settings category.
  4. Click Data Collector.
  5. The following settings must be set to Enabled to auto-create daily or hourly Anomaly Detections:
    • Anomaly Detections - Auto-calculate Daily Anomaly Detections - enable auto-creation of daily Anomaly Detections.
    • Anomaly Detections - Auto-calculate Hourly Anomaly Detections - enable auto-creation of hourly Anomaly Detections.
    • To disable, set the above settings to Disable.
      Note: Enabling above settings immediately creates Anomaly Detections for all active and reportable events and dimensions.
      • Disabling the above settings disables all Anomaly Detections in the system. Individual Anomaly Detections must be re-enabled.
  6. To save changes, click Save.
