Packet Forwarder Overview
The Packet Forwarder is used to capture and forward hits to a cloud-based DNCA that is operating on a virtual machine.

Uninstall the Packet Forwarder

If needed, you can complete the following instructions to uninstall the Packet Forwarder software.

You can use Red Hat Package Manager (RPM) to uninstall the Packet Forwarder. To uninstall the Packet Forwarder, enter the following from a command line:

rpm -ev Discover-pktfwdr-<nn.n.n>-<rrr>.<distro>.i686

where:

<nn.n.n> is the build version number.
<rrr> is the RPM revision number; for exmaple, 1.
<distro> is the an identifier for the Linux™ distribution, such as "RHEL8" for Red Hat Enterprise Linux™ 8.
