DNCA software service

Once the Discover DNCA software package is installed, you can use the service command to restart, start, and stop the Discover DNCA software.

The following commands can be used to restart, start, and stop the Discover DNCA software.


./discover restart
./discover start
./discover stop

If some components of DNCA do not stop in a timely manner, the ./discover restart command cannot successfully start them after you attempt to stop them. Instead, use the ./discover stop command to confirm Discover DNCA software was terminated.

Use the following command to determine whether any Discover processes are still running: ./discover ps
