Portal Management

Portal Announcements
Portal announcements are messages displayed to all Portal users upon login. These messages can be used to display current system status, scheduled maintenance windows, or other Discover-related issues.

Configuring announcements

Complete the following steps to configure announcements.

Procedure

Login to the Discover Portal as an administrator.
From the Portal menu, select Discover > Manage Portal.
Click the Announcements link in the left navigation panel.
To display a list of all currently configured announcements, select Configure.

Results

Currently active announcements are marked with a blue dot.
