ELK Installation
To access the Kibana Dashboard and the Elastic search, you must install the ELK RPM.

    Planning for Unica Discover before introducing its software into your enterprise information system helps ensure that the system you implement meets your needs.
  - Preparing to install the software
    Preparing to install Unica Discover involves assessing your current IT resources, determining and cataloging the Unica Discover component-to-server assignments, installing and configuring prerequisite software and preparing the servers and your network environment to accept Unica Discover.

    Installing Unica Discover involves obtaining the installation files for Unica Discover and then running the product installers.
  - ELK Installation
    To access the Kibana Dashboard and the Elastic search, you must install the ELK RPM.
    - Installing ELK using the RPM file
      Perform the following steps to install the ELK RPM:
    - Using the curator.sh File
      Use the curator.sh file to delete indices that are seven days or older. Installing the discoverELKIntegration-nn.nn.n-1.el8.x86_64.rpm file also installs the curator.sh file. In the discoverELKIntegration-nn.nn.n-1.el8.x86_64.rpm file, nn.n.n represents the Unica Discover version. For example, 12.1.2.

ELK Installation

To access the Kibana Dashboard and the Elastic search, you must install the ELK RPM.

The ELK RPM installation will only work on CentOS 8 and RHEL 8 systems.

Note: If required, you can install the ELK RPM on servers that have DNCA or the Packet Forwarder components.

The name of the RPM file is discoverELKIntegration-nn.n.n-1.el8.x86_64.rpm, where:

nn.n.n is the version of Unica Discover. For example, 12.1.2.
