Event driven orchestration
Event management in HCL Universal Orchestrator is enabled by
event plug ins that define event sources and event types. You can configure multiple
event sources, and you can add the events they receive to job streams to drive your
orchestration. The event plug ins currently available are:
Each event can be configured so that it is only received by its event source when any number of conditions are met. When the specified number of events are received, the launch of a job stream is triggered.
You can monitor your event driven job streams in the Orchestration Monitor, where you can check which events trigger the monitored job streams. You can also check the event progress, as the successful reception of the triggering events is monitored in real time in the job streams results table.
